Russell Bawks has experience in many industries and roles, making him a well-rounded exemplary person to sit on any board. Russell’s current role is Solution Architect where his focus has been in the in areas of Supply Chain Management (Procurement, Production and Logistics), and Supply Chain Intelligence. Previously Russell was with a large global freight forwarder and was employed in various roles as a solution architect, product management, and solution consulting (pre-sales) in the areas of warehouse management, supply chain visibility and integration, and business intelligence.
Russell has also worked as a business consultant and senior IT consulting roles in a variety of industries including the grocery retailing and distribution operations, manufacturing, agra-chemical distribution, and insurance. Experience includes IT strategy, warehouse management systems, demand planning, manufacturing execution, financial applications, POS implementation and EDI implementation.
Russell was featured in the premier edition of CIO Canada, has served on various committees and boards based in Toronto, Canada.
